As per the sources Amir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’ Delhi shooting schedule have been cut short because the city is getting costly to shoot movies.

Not only Amir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raidi 2’ but Ulajh have also chosen to cut short their Delhi schedule.

These filmmakers are now looking forward to shooting in smaller cities like Lucknow, Bhopal and Vadodara.

Reasons for the Makers of Amir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’ and Ulajh to change their Delhi Shoot Schedule.

Let Begin with Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming film Ulajh, The film is now being shooted in Bhopal instead of the schedule of 12 -13 days in Delhi. Reasons are they overshoot their budget while shooting in London. This film is about to wrap and have a significant portion shooted in other cities than Delhi.

Due to the cost reason, Amir Khan led ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ had a 30 days long shooting schedule in Delhi, however it has been cut short heavily and now reduced to 10 days. This shooting is likely to happen in the month of July at Delhi. 

While Ajay Devgn’s “Raid 2’ has a major portion required to be shot in Delhi, while they shooted only for 4 days in the city. These are the crucial scenes from the movie. However they recreated Delhi city in the studios of Lucknow. 

Lucknow as we are aware provides quick permission and the current government is focusing on bringing industry to Uttar Pradesh.

Possibilities are if you have seen Delhi in the movies it is recreated City in the studios of Lucknow and Bhopal.

However Increasing costs of rising metro cities are hitting the budget of many filmmakers.
